Here is Prashansa with us today, one of our driven ACCA students whose hard work and dedication have paid off as she successfully cleared her exams, moving closer to her dream of becoming a certified accountant. Through her journey, Prashansa faced many challenges but overcame them with resilience and the guidance of edZeb’s expert mentors. In this interview, she opens up about her experiences, the strategies she used to tackle her exams, and the role edZeb played in her success. First, let us know what inspired you to pursue ACCA.
I would say that my inspiration was within, I was interested in accounting and finance, and curious at the same time to learn more. Then, as I pursued it, I learned that ACCA is globally recognized and the opportunity to work abroad motivated me to do the ACCA course. There are many opportunities that ACCA offers and I thought of giving it a try. I started envisioning my future, having a good job, a reputable lifestyle, and luxury in life.
How did you first learn about ACCA as a career path?
Initially, I heard about it from one of my relatives, and then I researched ACCA, its syllabus, and how to prepare for it. So, I found it very interesting. I also liked the flexibility that ACCA offers (as you can sit just one exam at a time) and the frequency of exam sessions. So, I decided to pursue an ACCA qualification.
What made you choose ACCA over other accounting and finance qualifications?
ACCA’s comprehensive curriculum, international recognition, and the flexibility to complete the exams alongside my BCom Honors were key reasons. It aligns well with my long-term career goals in finance and accounting.
How did you find out about edZeb’s ACCA coaching?
When I decided to do ACCA, I asked everyone around me and that is how I found out about edZeb. I also got recommendations from fellow ACCA aspirants and after researching well-known institutes that provide focused ACCA coaching in Delhi, I personally got in touch with them and decided to start offline ACCA coaching classes provided by edZeb in Delhi. I visited the institute, and I was impressed by their counseling session along with the structured program, the experienced faculty, and the positive feedback that I received from previous students made it stand out for me.
So, are you only doing ACCA or anything else side by side?
I’m pursuing ACCA alongside my BCom Honors from Aryabhatta College, Delhi University.
And, How is your overall experience at edZeb while preparing for your ACCA exams?
Yes, my experience is good. It has been excellent. The coaching is well-structured, and talking about the faculty is also very supportive, simplifying and breaking down complex concepts to provide a clear understanding.
How did edZeb help you pass your exams?
So far, I have cleared Financial Reporting, Financial Management, Audit and Assurance,
and Taxation from the skills level. edZeb helped me prepare for these exams. For FR, FM, and Tax exam preparation, I attended Amit sir’s classes and I took classes from Akhil sir for Audit exam preparation. Their classes and one-to-one sessions were very fruitful for exam preparation.
What about the challenges you faced during your ACCA preparation, and how did edZeb support you through those?
Balancing my ACCA studies with other commitments was challenging. However, their flexible study schedules, timely doubt-clearing sessions, and personalized guidance helped me stay focused. The constant backing and always asking about my progress did not let me go astray. The faculty at edZeb is so knowledgeable and approachable. They provided insightful explanations of complex topics and quick doubt resolutions helped me understand things better.
Did edZeb offer any tips or strategies that helped you maintain this balance?
Yes, they provided time management tips and personalized study schedules to study thoroughly at home which made it easier for me to juggle multiple responsibilities without feeling overwhelmed.
Do they offer what they promise?
I would say that there was no shortcoming. I was provided with every sort of help needed to pass my exams. They deliver what they promise and even I have seen the faculty helping students out of the way just to deliver results. They are so consistent and dedicated. From quality education to continuous support, they ensure students have all the resources needed to succeed in ACCA.
Who do you think had a significant impact on your ACCA journey?
I would say all the faculty members are very helpful but yes especially Akhil Sir and Amit Sir took really good care of my progress.
Will you refer edZeb to others as well?
Sure, I already did. I suggest many around me and almost everyone in my circle who wanted to do ACCA have joined edZeb and their experience is also great, they also refer to it.
