Kisha initiated her academic progress at Mount Mary School, Delhi. She was a very motivated student. In her commerce studies, she was an excellent candidate, and she was also the head girl. This speaks volumes regarding her top-rated understanding of leadership and studies among peers and teachers.
After her schooling, she got into Shiv Nadar University under the BMS program for a Bachelor of Management Studies. Kisha is majoring in Management with minors in International Relations. Altogether, if you are multitasking, then it probably becomes so much more difficult for anyone to maintain a balance. Kisha had to find this balance between her rigorous university curriculum and ACCA preparation which definitely was not an easy feat.
Kisha’s daily schedule often involved late-night study sessions, watching recorded lectures at 1.5x speed on our LMS (Learning Management System), and making detailed notes for quick revisions. As per her “I used to study at night when everything was quiet. It was my dedicated time for ACCA preparation. I used to prepare from the notes, make concise summaries, and focusing only on key concepts became my go-to techniques.”
She kept her social circle alive, she did study hard but did not become a bookworm, and her lively nature helped her get through this rigorous journey. Her hard work paid off really well. Her ability to juggle between multiple commitments, including internships and university societies, speaks volumes about her discipline and time management skills.
Overcoming Challenges
Kisha is not an extraordinary person. Everyone faces hurdles, controlling a hectic busy life and keeping up with the pressure of exams. One of the toughest moments came when papers were postponed due to unforeseen reasons. Kisha says “It was not a smooth or fast journey, but it was very enriching. Every time there was a delay, it instilled in me the ability to be patient and to withstand stress quite well. Akhil sir kept me motivated throughout, he used to always ask me about my progress no matter what!”
The constant encouragement and constructive feedback from her mentors helped her to overcome these issues, “Even when my mock results were bad, they never let me lose confidence. Their faith in my abilities worked like an impetus to push me to work harder,” she says.
