How do you feel after successfully passing your recent ACCA exams?
Mmm, it is a great feeling, maybe some think it is the foundation level only, but for students like me, I can imagine how tough it may have been for Akhil Sir. I am an average student who passed my MA in the third attempt. It was so frustrating but I’m so grateful to Akhil sir, as he boosted my morale, and even talked to my parents when they lost hope in me.
What were the biggest challenges you faced during your ACCA journey?
I guess, this only. Reattempting my exam, disheartening it is when you do not pass in a batch where everyone cracked it in their first attempt. I felt very bad and did not want to reappear. Akhil sir came into the picture and convinced me that it happens, failure is just a part of the journey. He told me not to make it a big deal. I was so upset after my 2nd reattempt that I stopped talking to my parents even, they were so mad at me. Akhil sir talked to my parents as well, he is so good at counseling, and now I realize when I finally cleared it. I remember, he sat with me and made me recall what I did and how I performed to not pass MA.
How has edZeb’s coaching helped you in preparing for and passing your ACCA exams?
Oh, it was a great help, without CA Akhil Iyer sir’s guidance, I could not imagine of even following a certain pattern of studies, forget about passing exams. So, he gave me everything possible, study material, and his notes. I watched guest lectures, mock exams, detailed feedback, personalized study plans, Live Recorded sessions on LMS, and doubt sessions. His constant support and feedback helped a student like me crack Financial Accounting in my first attempt. I wonder, why did not I follow him while preparing for Management Accounting in my first attempt, and see I learnt a lesson. Now I follow his advice and do whatever he asks me to clear my upcoming exams. The ACCA Course offered by edZeb gives a clear structure and roadmap, which is made preparing for each subject manageable and effective.”
Can you describe any unique study techniques or strategies you used to prepare for your exams?
Yes, I remember, he used to tell me to write answers and he used to score me on that. Then he used to ask me to again write the same answer upon his feedback and that helped me alot to gain insights on how to attempt. It gave me an idea of managing my time as well. These notes helped me improve my retention. After resolving my issues with MA, I cleared FA in the 1st attempt and am super happy about it. I am now waiting to complete the Business and technology exam. I have also started my coaching for Applied Skills Level subjects as well.
Were there any specific topics or subjects you found particularly challenging?
The problem is that I did not know anything, I just started taking coaching and did not think that it would be a demanding job until I received bad results, but then Akhil sir’s personalized consultation boosted my confidence and helped me crack my exams really well. I felt that every topic was tough for me until I attended his lecture and understood the topics from him. He really made things easier for me. Management Accounting especially because I did not know what mistake I committed in my exam. He helped me crack that as well, unlike other teachers who demean their students, he encouraged me and helped me tons.
Would you recommend edZeb to other ACCA aspirants?
Yes, why not? It is the best ACCA coaching center. I attended one in Delhi before but then I moved to edZeb and now I do not want to go anywhere else. This is the best ACCA institute in Delhi. Since I belong to Mumbai, the live online classes offered by edZeb for students from outside Delhi NCR are super effective. I cannot thank them enough, my words fall short to describe how grateful I am to have learned from edZeb.
