Firstly Prathana, let us know why you choose ACCA. And did you start doing it after +2 or graduation?
I chose ACCA because of its global recognition and the vast opportunities it offers in finance and accounting. I researched whether I could do it or not as I was in +2. So, I learned about the eligibility, and happily, I began pursuing it right after completing my Class 12.
Was there a particular moment or experience that made you choose ACCA over other qualifications?
Yes, when I was exploring career paths after Class 12, I was impressed by ACCA’s flexibility. There are lots of benefits. I got to know that it offers a wide range of international job roles which impressed me and became a motivational factor to do ACCA. Then, I also observed that I was interested in accounting and finance when I did commerce in my senior secondary. It will be easy to continue working in a field I like and obviously with so many perks. So, all of this made me choose ACCA over other qualifications.
How did you first hear about edZeb Institute and its ACCA coaching program?
I came across them while researching different institutes online that offer ACCA coaching in Delhi. I followed all of them online, read many reviews, and refined a few of them. I called and visited the institute on my list. When I visited edZeb, my counseling session was quite informative and lastly, I met Amit Sir as well. Due to his clear and practical guidance on how ACCA would align with my career goals, I settled with edZeb. He also explained the process and what to expect in a very approachable manner and it was the best decision I took for my ACCA coaching.
What factors influenced your decision to join edZeb for your ACCA preparation?
Okay, if I have to give reasons, then I think edZeb stood out for me because of its experienced faculty, flexible study plans, and comprehensive counseling. There were many reasons when I visited the institute institute for ACCA course, I liked the atmosphere, everyone was soft-spoken, and I noticed that everything was organized, and structured. Upon my visit, I met Amit Sir and I felt confident in their approach after my counseling session with him.
Were there any specific features of edZeb (faculty, study materials, etc.) that stood out for you?
I think I got a lot of support in the form of notes, video lectures, and doubt sessions, and yes I forgot about study materials, personalized support from faculty, and well-structured classes. I think these are the standout features that helped me pass my exams in one go.
Who was your mentor, and how was your initial experience with your mentor?
In the beginning, I got an opportunity to learn from Amit Sir. He was my mentor. He motivated me alot, I was not able to cope up and was a bit confused with how to start studying and how to plan out my studies. He helped me every time with any of my doubts, and his confidence in me helped me improve. He always told me to just think about my dream job goal while steadily preparing for short-term targets.
Did you face any challenges during your ACCA journey? If so, how did edZeb help you overcome them?
See, I am currently pursuing my graduation as well so at times it becomes difficult to balance everything side by side. Also, managing my ACCA with other things was hard in between but I am so thankful that edZeb provided me with various study strategies to cover topics in time and flexible study plans to study at home, and even motivated me to help me stay on track.
Can you share a memorable moment or highlight from your time studying with edZeb?
Yes, I will tell you one thing. For me, it was memorable when I cleared my first ACCA paper Financial Reporting with 80 marks. It was a tough subject for me. My journey of hard work became easy for me with the support of edZeb. I found it really difficult to understand concepts like studying and preparing financial statements and the amalgamation of technology skills so with edZeb, difficulty in learning finally became easier and effective. All thanks to the focused and supportive teaching environment offered at the edZeb institute.
Which mentor had a significant impact on your journey? And how did he support or guide you?
Well, Amit Sir and Akhil Sir were particularly very impactful. Their continuous encouragement and practical advice helped me stay focused and motivated throughout my journey. They both backed me throughout.
Did you notice any personal development after passing your exams?
Definitely! I became more disciplined because of my study plan that I used to follow, gained a stronger understanding of finance and accounting, and felt more confident in tackling all the challenges that I was facing while preparing for my exams.
In what ways has your confidence grown throughout your ACCA journey at edZeb?
See, confidence increases, as you accomplish your goals. My confidence improved as I cleared each paper. I can say that without the support of my mentors at Edzeb, I could not achieve what I have now, and even I will. Their support assured me that I can succeed, even in challenging subjects. So, the mentors have a phenomenal ability to break down complex topics and make them easy to understand. Their constant encouragement and expertise gave me the confidence to keep pushing forward, even when I found it tough.
What advice would you give to other students who want to do ACCA?
I think you should follow what the faculty says. They guide you really well. Just be consistent, they will keep you motivated throughout your journey at edZeb. So, I think it’s better to choose the right institute for the right guidance and after choosing I was rest assured I followed them and it helped me easily through my exams.
Out of 10, how would you rate edZeb? And why?
Oh, 10 on 10. They have excellent faculty, the class schedule is so structured, the syllabus is covered comprehensively, and that too in advance to revise everything well before exams. It was a fun learning experience with such mentors and their personalized support they provided to each of us.
